===2.2 Starting and installing the program===

MBWAVE starts from MSX-DOS. At the DOS-prompt type MBWAVE to start the program. DOS 2 users need to make sure enough memory is available to start the program. In most cases it will be sufficient to decrease or remove an existing RAMdisk.
If DOS2 is used it is advised to copy the program files in a separate directory yourself. If this directory is added to the search path, the program will attempt to find the other files it needs in this same directory. DOS2 users will also note that only the RAM size of the primary mapper is displayed when loading. Only the primary mapper is used by MoonBlaster for maximum speed.
All other settings can be done in the program using the set-up menu. How to do this is described later in this manual.
